For example, you will discover that in Book II, the events some would have us believe didn't exactly happen the way they say they did. There are also these ruins, whose function historians supposedly understood, actually existed for other reasons ...

And to get back to the gossip, Alex Serval suggests replacing them with... What makes Humanity what it is today: the basic knowledge that will help you better understand why we live the way we do today.

THE STORY BEGINS LIKE THIS:

Jazz Scry is a Cargo Ship Captain. He delivers elements, in a universe different from his own, to the Watchers of an experiment, the fifth on this experimental planet.

Jazz has been trained in dealing with different cultures; he knows that he must respect them and avoid revealing his true nature to minimize his influence on these civilizations; in short, he must respect the Rule of Non-Intervention.

This Universe, very different from his own, is chaotic, even down to the carbon-based humanoids who live on the experimental planet.

Not to mention the Girogs. They also come from the same universe as Jazz Scry. Despite the agreements, they use the experimental planet and the humanoid beings who live there as an attraction, a curiosity, not hesitating to make contact with them and influence them.

After four failures, how can the Experimenters believe in the success of the current fifth experiment ?

(Im)probable mission ?

Especially since other powers seem to fear this new carbon-based life.

WHY READ THIS SERIES?

Throughout human history, there have been incomprehensible phenomena—still today—such as people capable of shapeshifting, flying (with wings or via chariots of fire), disappearances, and those possessing various powers, even after death, through body parts or objects touched.

Granted, many phenomena have been explained since then, but many remain unexplained.

Even places like the Pyramid of Giza in Egypt (a tomb without a body) with measurements linked to the famous golden ratio, and Tiwanaku in Peru, whose ruins are carved with a precision we would struggle to achieve today with our machines.

In addition to this precision, the exact dimension of the meter was used. When you consider that to obtain the meter, it was necessary to understand that the Earth is round, to measure it, and a good dose of math: it's intriguing. And I'm not even talking about the Nazca Lines, which seem to have been created only to be seen from a great height. Why ? A story about a deity with powers, or simply technology we don't know about ?

Alex Serval "absorbed" all this information, researched the latest discoveries and technological advances, to propose this universe, his own universe, which "fits" with everything we know today.

The experimental planet was born from this observation, with the Experimenters leading the Watchers who monitor the evolution of events.

Except that our Universe only exists because it has an element of unpredictability, and it is this chaos that rules the roost ! Without this characteristic, nothing could be...
